Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had an unbeatable location with stunning views of the Embarcadero and the Bay Bridge. The rooms were a bit outdated and pricey, but I couldn't complain about the prime location. However, the noise from the cocktail lounge till late at night was quite a disturbance. The service was nice overall, but there were some communication issues and a rude encounter at the bar. The dining options were limited and overpriced, especially for vegetarians. The facilities were average with some room for improvement.
My stay at the Hyatt Regency had its ups and downs. The rooms were large and well-appointed, but unfortunately, the smell of smoke was overpowering and the bathroom was exceptionally small for a hotel of this caliber. The service was helpful and friendly, making dealing with requests easy, although I was expecting a call that never came. The location was convenient for accessing different parts of San Francisco, but parking in the neighborhood proved to be a challenge. The dining experience was somewhat lacking in variety, especially for a hotel of this standard.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were a good size with a view of the bay bridge and sky scrapers, and the modern decor from late 2019 added a nice touch. The service was excellent with kind gestures like a gift card for the lobby cafe. The location was ideal, right by the BART station and Ferry Building. Unfortunately, the dining options were not up to par, but overall, a great stay.
I had a spacious room with a balcony and bay view, although it required an extra $40. The decor was modern and clean, and the staff was friendly. The decision to have two full beds instead of queen beds was puzzling. The room offered a great view of the bay bridge and skyscrapers.
The hotel had a great location close to popular attractions and was convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were comfortable, but the odd layout led to a unique bathroom experience. The service was a mix of professional and kind interactions, with some issues regarding valet parking and extra charges. Dining was excellent despite some price concerns, and the facilities were mostly satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The Regency Club on the 17th floor was a must-visit, offering stunning bay views. The room was decently sized, clean, and very comfortable, making my stay pleasant.
The hotel is located in a wonderful spot close to the Ferry Building and tons of restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, perfect for families. The friendly service adds a nice touch, although the dining could be improved with more options. The exceptional location provides easy access to various attractions, making it a great choice for exploring San Francisco without a car.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but they lacked proper isolation from the noise of the hall. I appreciated the cleanliness and the balcony view I requested. However, the outdated decor was a downside, and the room lacked modern amenities like Keurig machines.
I absolutely loved the view from my balcony room, overlooking the bay, the ice skating rink, and Coit Tower. However, the rooms with no view of the bay weren't worth the extra charge. The hotel was clean and quiet.
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The rooms were amazing, with a perfect view of the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge, and the Sales Force Tower adding to the scenic beauty. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, with only a few minor hiccups. The location couldn't have been more convenient, especially for business travelers, with easy access to all the exciting attractions. While the dining options were pricey, they were still enjoyable. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more memorable.
